Opps, my server ate my blog posts

Long story short, for the mean­time until I write a real expla­na­tion, my server ate 3 blog posts. Turns out the VMware disk instance crashed and every­thing was hap­pily hang­ing out in the RAM (mem­ory), that is until I rebooted it. Yikes!

Google cashes saved the day, recre­ated the posts, and will take a look what else it ate when I have time. Broke all the car­di­nal rules: hosted myself (this time I paid for a years worth of real host­ing), didn’t backup DB as often (now I’ll backup daily). Was a tar­get for dis­as­ter, good thing the migra­tion to the paid host­ing was not too difficult.
